Eventually managed to get my head around this new fangled ‘blogging’ malarky today – or at least I think I have! Taken a good few hours of playing around on the laptop, but then I guess that’s much more fun that actually doing some real work (which I’m sure that can wait for a few more days….).
Just need to go back now and upload the blogs for the past couple of weeks since we arrived. Hopefully have something worth ready up here soon
Bye for now

Just about I think. Pity there wasn’t the cab waiting for us at the airport as promised, but eventually managed to negotiate a reasonable fare with one of the taxi men waiting outside with the help of a friendly security guard. It was only when we got to the car park that we found out that our cab was to be a tiny beat-up TATA micro-car. Had absolutely no idea how the taxi man planned to get six suitcases plus us into the back of this thing, but sure enough he managed it. Two cases in the boot, two on the front seat (with him holding them in place around the bends), and two in the middle of the back seat with us squished in either side. Quite an impressive feat really – welcome to India I guess! If only I’d have been awake enough to take a picture (or have any idea where the camera was for that matter). Turned out he also had no idea where our hotel was, but we managed to get there in the end. Just in time for a few hours kip before breakfast…
